More Details on Our Top Picks
Squishmallows Original Holiday Micromallows Plush Bouquet
This holiday-themed plush bouquet stands out for its charming micro size and festive appeal, making it ideal for small display or gifting during the season. Unlike larger plush options like the 14-inch Fox, these Micromallows are perfect for adding a touch of holiday cheer to desks or shelves. Their detachable design enhances versatility, but their limited size and character selection may disappoint collectors seeking more substantial plush or a wider variety. Overall, this set offers a compact, adorable holiday accent that makes a delightful stocking stuffer or table centerpiece, especially for fans of tiny plush.
Pros:- Compact size makes them easy to display or carry
- Detachable plush characters allow for versatile play and display
- Festive holiday design enhances seasonal decor
Cons:- Limited to small size, may not satisfy collectors seeking larger plush
- Includes only three characters, limiting variety for avid fans
Best for: Shoppers looking for small, festive decorations or stocking stuffers that are easy to display or gift.
Not ideal for: Collectors seeking larger, more detailed plush or those wanting a comprehensive holiday plush set with more characters.
- Size:2.5 inches
- Includes:3 Micromallows plush toys
- Characters:Laurel, Zumir, Brooke
Our verdict“This pick is best for those who want a cute, small-scale holiday plush set to brighten up their space without taking up much room.”
Squishmallows Amazon Exclusive Holiday Fox 14″ Plush
This 14-inch plush, featuring James the fox, offers a soft, ultrasoft feel that makes it a cuddly companion and charming display piece. Compared with the smaller Micromallows, this plush provides a more substantial, huggable size that appeals to both kids and collectors. Its detailed bio and official licensing add collectible appeal, but its single-character focus and relatively modest size might limit appeal for those seeking a more varied or larger plush collection. This plush makes a strong statement on a bed or shelf, especially for fans of fox characters or holiday-themed decor.
Pros:- Soft and ultrasoft material for maximum cuddling comfort
- Unique bio and name enhance collectibility
- Official Squishmallows product with authentic seal
Cons:- Limited to a single character design
- May be too small for children who prefer larger plush
Best for: Parents or collectors wanting a medium-sized, cuddly plush with seasonal appeal that fits easily on beds or shelves.
Not ideal for: Those seeking larger plush or a multi-character set, as this is a single, 14-inch character.
- Brand:Squishmallows
- Toy Type:Stuffed Toy
- Character:Fox
- Size:14 inches
- Included Components:1 plush
- Age Range:3+
Our verdict“This plush suits those who want a comfy, official holiday character that’s perfect for hugging and display without overwhelming space.”
Squishmallows Original 24-Day Micromallows Holiday Plush Advent Calendar
This advent calendar offers a fun way for fans to enjoy a daily surprise of tiny holiday-themed Squishmallows, including characters like Brooke and Manny. Its size and design make it ideal for holiday displays or gifting, especially compared to larger plush sets like the 12-inch Hedda. However, its small size limits long-term play value, and it’s seasonal only, which might not appeal to those wanting year-round plush. It’s a perfect choice for holiday countdowns or gift exchanges, providing a daily dose of festive cheer in miniature form.
Pros:- Includes 24 different holiday-themed Micromallows
- Compact size makes it easy to display or gift
- Official Squishmallows product with authentic seal
Cons:- Limited to small plush toys, not suitable for rough play
- Seasonal only, may not appeal outside holiday times
Best for: Holiday enthusiasts interested in a fun, collectible countdown experience or a seasonal gift for Squishmallows fans.
Not ideal for: Collectors seeking durable, display-ready plush for year-round use or those preferring larger plush figures.
- Size:2.5 inches
- Includes:24 Micromallows
- Theme:Holiday/Christmas
Our verdict“This advent calendar is perfect for holiday countdowns and gifting, especially for fans who enjoy tiny, collectible plush surprises.”
Squishmallows 12in Hedda The Milk for Santa Plush
Hedda the Santa-themed plush provides a substantial 12-inch size for cuddling, making it a versatile choice for travel or cozy nights. Compared with smaller Micromallows, Hedda offers a more durable, huggable presence ideal for long-term companionship. Her detailed bio and adorable Santa motif enhance her appeal for collectors and kids alike. The main tradeoff is that, for those seeking a variety of characters or larger plush, this single-sized, character-specific plush might fall short. Hedda shines as a travel-ready, festive plush that adds charm to any holiday decor or bedtime routine.
Pros:- Soft, high-quality ultrasoft material for cozy cuddling
- Unique bio and character story add charm
- Ideal size for travel and display
Cons:- Limited to fans of the specific series or character
- Only available in one size and character
Best for: Parents seeking a medium-sized, travel-friendly plush or collectors who appreciate character backstory and seasonal charm.
Not ideal for: Those wanting a large, multi-character set or plush for rough play, as Hedda is more suited for cuddling and display.

- Size:12 inches
- Model Name:Style 1
- Included Components:1 plush
- Age Range:Kid
Our verdict“Hedda makes a great travel companion or collector’s piece for those who want a festive plush with a story and manageable size.”
Squishmallows 8in Fleur the Yule Log with Holly – Official Holiday Plush
This 8-inch plush, featuring Fleur the Yule Log with Holly, offers a festive, cuddly option for holiday decor and play. Its size makes it easy to incorporate into holiday scenes or gift as a small seasonal plush. Compared to the larger Hedda, Fleur’s smaller stature is more suitable for kids’ hands and holiday setups, but it limits display presence for those wanting a sizable plush centerpiece. Its detailed design and authentic licensing make it a charming addition to any holiday collection, especially for those who prefer a smaller, manageable plush that still brings holiday spirit.
Pros:- Soft, high-quality material perfect for cuddling
- Festive character with Holly design adds holiday charm
- Official licensed product with authentic seal
Cons:- Limited to holiday season use
- Only available in one size (8 inches)
Best for: Parents or holiday decorators seeking a festive, small plush to enhance seasonal decor or gift to kids.

- Size:8 inches
- Model Name:Style 1
- Included Components:1 plush
- Age Range:Kid
Our verdict“Fleur the Yule Log is a delightful, manageable-sized holiday plush for seasonal decor or gifting during the festivities.”
Squishmallows Original Holiday 4-Pack – Official Jazwares Plush (Little)
This holiday-themed 4-pack stands out for offering a variety of characters, including Maritza the Cactus and Stevon the Golden Retriever, making it perfect for fans who want a diverse collection. Compared to the 14-inch Nick Santa plush, this set is more suitable for display and collection rather than cuddling, but it lacks size details which could influence its appeal. The plush toys are ultrasoft and high-quality, and each comes with a unique bio, adding collectible value. However, the set is limited to dedicated fans and may feel seasonal or niche for casual buyers. Its main tradeoff is that it’s more of a display piece than a cuddly companion for everyday use.Pros:- Soft, ultrasoft, and high-quality material for a premium feel
- Includes four different characters, enhancing collection diversity
- Official Jazwares product, exclusive to Amazon
Cons:- Limited appeal outside of dedicated collectors
- Lacks specific size information, which may matter for display or gift purposes
Best for: Serious Squishmallows collectors who want a themed, multi-character set for the holidays
Not ideal for: Casual fans or children seeking larger, cuddly plush toys for everyday play
- Includes:4 plush toys
- Material:Ultrasoft, high-quality plush
- Theme:Holiday
Our verdict“This set is an excellent choice for avid collectors who value a variety of holiday-themed plush characters, but less ideal for casual gifting or everyday cuddling.”
Squishmallows 8in Fifi the Red Fox Frosted Ornament
Fifi the Red Fox ornament is a compact, plush decoration that adds a cute touch to holiday decor. Unlike the larger Nick Santa plush, this 8-inch ornament is more suited to decorating trees or shelves rather than cuddling. Its ultrasoft texture and official licensing give it an authentic, collectible appeal, but its small size limits versatility and may not satisfy those looking for a plush to snuggle. This makes it ideal for buyers wanting a festive, decorative piece rather than a plush for play or large display.Pros:- Soft, plush texture lends a cozy holiday vibe
- Official licensed product ensures quality and authenticity
- Cute, festive character perfect for decorating
Cons:- Limited function as a decoration only
- Small size may not appeal to all collectors or children
Best for: Holiday decorators and collectors seeking an adorable, small ornament to enhance their seasonal decor
Not ideal for: Children or those seeking a larger, hug-friendly plush toy as a gift or comfort item
- Size:8 inches
- Material:Ultrasoft plush
- Character:Fifi the Red Fox
- Type:Ornament
Our verdict“Fifi the Red Fox ornament is ideal for adding a cute, plush accent to holiday decor, but isn’t suited for cuddling or large display.”
Squishmallows Original 14in Nick the Santa Claus Plush
Nick the Santa Claus plush offers a festive, sizable companion with a unique twist—dressed in a Hawaiian shirt—making it stand out from more traditional Santa plush toys like Fleur the Yule Log. Its 14-inch size makes it perfect for hugging or display, but it could be too large for very young children, limiting its versatility as a toy. The plush’s ultrasoft, high-quality material ensures a cuddly experience, and its official status enhances its collectible value. This plush balances size and softness, appealing most to those seeking a holiday gift or a seasonal cuddle buddy, though it isn’t a toy for rough play.Pros:- Soft, ultrasoft plush material for a cuddly feel
- Unique, festive character with a fun Hawaiian twist
- Official Squishmallows product with an authentic seal
Cons:- Too large for very young children or for portable play
- Limited to collectible or display use, not a functional toy
Best for: Families wanting a sizable, cuddly Santa plush as a holiday gift or seasonal decor accent
Not ideal for: Parents seeking small or highly durable plush toys for active children
- Size:14 inches
- Material:Ultrasoft plush
- Character:Nick the Santa Claus
- Model Name:Style 1
- Included Components:14in Squishmallows Nick Santa Claus Plush
- Age Range:Kid
Our verdict“Nick the Santa plush makes a charming, cuddly gift for holiday collectors or families looking for a sizable seasonal plush, but may be too large for some children’s everyday play.”
Squishmallows 24-Day Micromallows Holiday Plush Advent Calendar
This advent calendar offers a festive way to count down to Christmas with 24 mini Micromallows, including favorites like Benny the Bigfoot and Cam the Cat. Its small 2.5-inch size makes it perfect for display, gifting, or stacking, but it limits the plush to smaller collectibles, unlike the larger Nick or the 4-pack. Compared to standard plush sets, it provides a daily surprise element that appeals to dedicated fans and kids who enjoy a themed countdown, though it may lack detailed character descriptions. Its main benefit is the variety and daily excitement, balanced against the limited size for cuddling or display.Pros:- Includes 24 different holiday-themed plush toys
- Compact size ideal for display or gifting
- Official Squishmallows product with authentic seal
Cons:- Limited to small-sized plush toys only
- Lacks detailed character descriptions for each plush
Best for: Families and fans who want a fun, interactive way to celebrate the countdown to Christmas
Not ideal for: Those seeking large plush toys or detailed character collectibles for display
- Size:2.5 inches
- Includes:24 Micromallows plush toys
- Theme:Holiday/Christmas
Our verdict“The Micromallows advent calendar is a delightful way to add daily holiday surprises, especially for kids or collectors seeking a festive countdown experience, though it’s not for cuddling or large displays.”
Squishmallows Original Holiday 4-Pack – Official Jazwares Plush (Little) – Amazon Exclusive
This exclusive 4-pack features festive characters like Ingred the Purple Cow and Luna the Penguin, making it a solid choice for holiday gifting or seasonal decor. Compared with the 8-inch Fifi ornament, this set offers more variety and larger plushes, suitable for cuddling or display. The plush toys are ultrasoft, and each has a unique bio, adding character and collectibility. The main drawback is that it’s limited to the holiday season and might be less appealing to those seeking larger or more durable plush toys for everyday use. It’s best suited for gift-givers wanting a themed set that’s both adorable and exclusive.Pros:- Festive, adorable holiday-themed characters
- Made with ultrasoft, cuddly fabric
- Includes unique character bios for added charm
Cons:- Limited to the holiday season only
- Small size may not satisfy all age groups or for rough play
Best for: Gift-givers and collectors looking for a festive, exclusive plush set for holiday presents
Not ideal for: Buyers seeking year-round plush toys or larger, more durable plushes for active play
- Brand:Squishmallows
- Toy Figure Type:Plush
- Quantity:4-pack
- Material:Ultrasoft fabric
Our verdict“This Amazon-exclusive holiday 4-pack is perfect for gifting and decorating, especially for those who appreciate collectible, themed plushes, but less ideal for everyday play or long-term use.”

Factors to Consider When Choosing Squishmallows Holiday List
Choosing the right squishmallows for the holidays involves more than just picking cute plushes. Consider how the size impacts storage and display, and whether the theme matches your recipient’s preferences. Budget is also key—premium, exclusive plushes cost more but often have more detailed craftsmanship. Think about how you plan to gift or display these plushies—some are better as collectibles, others as cuddly companions. Finally, pay attention to packaging and whether the product is part of a set, which can add value or simplify gifting.Size and Portability
Size influences not only the visual impact of the plush but also storage and portability. Larger plushes, such as 14-inch or 24-inch models, make a bold statement and are great for display, but they can be cumbersome to store or gift to children with limited space. Smaller options, like 8-inch or Micromallows, are easier to handle and fit into stockings or gift baskets, making them ideal for quick gifts or stocking stuffers.
Theme and Design Details
Holiday-themed details like Santa hats, holly accents, or festive prints enhance the collectible appeal and seasonal relevance. However, overly intricate designs may lead to higher prices or fragile parts, while simpler plushes offer durability and easier cleaning. Decide whether you want a plush that doubles as decor or one that’s more for cuddling—this influences the level of detail you should prioritize.
Exclusivity and Limited Editions
Exclusive releases, such as Amazon or retailer-specific plushes, often feature unique designs and higher quality materials. They can be excellent collector’s items but usually come at a premium. Non-exclusive, widely available plushes tend to be more budget-friendly and easier to find, though they might lack the special holiday flair or rarity. Your choice depends on whether the recipient values collectibility or simply wants a festive plush.
Value and Bundles
Buying in bundles or multi-packs can offer greater value, especially for holiday parties or multiple gifts. However, check if the set includes a variety of sizes and themes or if it’s repetitive. Individual plushes often cost more per item but allow for personalized gifting. Balancing cost and variety is key to getting the best holiday bang for your buck.
Durability and Maintenance
Holiday plushes should withstand handling and storage, especially if they’re intended as gifts for children. Look for high-quality stitching, durable fabrics, and easy-to-clean surfaces. Plushes with delicate details or fragile parts might require extra care, which is worth considering if you plan to keep them for years or pass them down as keepsakes.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are squishmallows suitable for young children during the holidays?
Yes, squishmallows are generally soft, safe, and suitable for children, especially those over the age of 3. For very young kids, check for plushes without small parts or loose accessories that could pose a choking hazard. Holiday-themed squishmallows often feature festive details that are well-secured, making them safe and cuddly gifts for kids during the season.
Should I choose a larger or smaller squishmallow for a holiday gift?
The choice depends on your recipient and the intended use. Larger plushes, such as 14-inch or bigger, serve well as room decor or cuddle buddies but can be less practical for travel or stocking stuffing. Smaller options, like Micromallows or 8-inch plushes, are more portable, easier to gift, and fit into stockings or gift bags, making them versatile for various gifting scenarios.
Are exclusive squishmallows worth paying extra for during the holidays?
Exclusive squishmallows often feature unique holiday designs and higher craftsmanship, appealing to collectors and fans. While they cost more, they can become cherished keepsakes or rare finds that increase in value over time. However, if you’re simply looking for a cute holiday plush to give or display, standard versions may offer better value without the premium price tag.
Can I wash squishmallows, and how should I clean holiday-themed plushes?
Most squishmallows are machine washable on gentle cycles, making maintenance straightforward. For holiday-themed plushes with detailed accessories or delicate parts, spot cleaning is recommended to preserve their appearance. Always check the care label—proper cleaning extends the plush’s lifespan and keeps it looking festive year after year.
Is it better to buy a single high-quality plush or a set for holiday gifting?
Buying a single high-quality plush can provide a special, memorable gift with intricate details and exclusivity. Conversely, sets or bundles often offer better overall value, especially if you plan to gift multiple items or want a variety of sizes and designs. Your choice should reflect your budget, gifting strategy, and whether you prioritize uniqueness or quantity.
Conclusion
For those seeking the best overall holiday squishmallow, the 24-Day Micromallows Advent Calendar offers a delightful, festive experience. Budget-conscious buyers will appreciate the Holiday 4-Pack options for value and variety. Collectors and serious fans should consider exclusive releases like the Holiday Fox Plush for their detailed design and rarity. Beginners or casual gift givers might find smaller plushes or bundle sets more practical and easier to gift. Ultimately, your choice depends on whether you prioritize collectibility, size, or budget—each option on this list offers a holiday-worthy plush for every preference.
